Molly's Community is an annual fundraiser for Cancer Action, put on by JzzyStyle.
Jazz vocalist, Molly Hammer was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and in 2016 she found out that the cancer had spread to other parts of her body. Molly was a major advocate for cancer awareness as well as a loved member of the Kansas City music community. Molly lost her battle after her 13 year fight in November 2020.
The 2022 Molly's Community event consisted of a silent auction of items donated by respected Kansas City organizations and establishments. Proceeds go to Cancer Action.
The night was accomodated by live performances by many of the city's talented artists, as well as a slide show and presentation of memories of Molly.
